Big Lots
Big Lots, a prominent community retailer operating over 1,400 stores across 47 states, was the platform for my role as a Front-End Developer. I was responsible for daily content updates on the BigLots website, regularly implementing enhancements, upgrades, and bug fixes. I was instrumental in upgrading the mobile header for improved usability by expanding the search bar, aligning its functionality with its desktop counterpart, and enhancing responsiveness.
Edge Energy
At EDGE Energy, a green building contractor, I served as a Web Developer. I transformed a barebones company site into a functional one, incorporating web analytics with PiWik and refining web content and SEO based on user behavior. I created a Zoho CRM system tailored to each site, training staff for optimal use. Moreover, I designed an internal database for completed jobs using ColdFusion 9 and SQL Server 2005.

In my role as a Web Content Developer for Abercrombie & Fitch, a multi-million dollar ecommerce enterprise, I oversaw content management for Abercrombie, Abercrombie Kids, and Gilly Hicks websites while also offering support for HollisterCo. Additionally, I played a significant role in the launch and ongoing maintenance of the Abercrombie and HollisterCo websites on the Demandware platform for the Asian market.

At Express, a global specialty retail brand, I served as a User Interface Developer. My responsibilities included managing content on the Express and Express Factory Outlet sites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, customizing third-party Salesforce chat windows, and refurbishing sections of the ATG-based website via Adobe Experience Manager. Additionally, I handled break/fix operations on the product detail page (PDP) using React.js and Node.js.

Onyemobi Anyiwo's Odibio Training program played a big role in helping me land my current role with a data analytics company. What stood out was how practical the learning was. I didn’t just go through theory, I got to practice real skills that I now use every day.
